GameStop: No More Preorders for Wii Fit

IGN has just received confirmation from GameStop that they are no longer accepting preorders for Nintendo's next big thing, Wii Fit, which will be available in just 12 days. The reason the king or preorders is no longer taking preorders?

Simply put, all the units for which the store has been allotted have been reserved.

In addition, Game Crazy is faring only just a little better, as it's reported that most locations are sold out of preorders, though a few locations are accepting "second orders" from those who have already preordered. Go figure... is anyone actually taking advantage?

Even though the stores are out, GameStop's website seems to be accepting online orders, though no telling how long that will last. It's suggested that while GameStop and Game Crazy's supplies may be exhausted, big-box retailers such as Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and Target are more likely to have plenty in stock, as they don't take preorders (even though Wal-Mart's website has a pretty good deal going if you pay in advance).
