RUMOR: Nintendo Power might be licensed to outside publisher.IGN reported earlier this month that rumors are swirling around regarding the future of Nintendo’s in-house magazine, Nintendo Power. As of yet, nothing seems to be official, but word is that Nintendo Power may be licensed to an outside publisher. This would be similar to how the official Nintendo Magazine works in Europe; as that is an independently-run publication by Future.
You may recall last year that Sony cut off the official US PlayStation magazine run by Ziff-Davis in a similar fashion. We’ll just have to wait and see what the future holds for Nintendo Power.
